A large part of a successful project is communication. Plans are developed showing the furniture layouts to understand circulation, views and the relationship of one space to another. Details are added to finalize the schematic design and a model, sketches, manufacturers catalogs and photographs are often utilized to communicate what is proposed to the owner, the builder and planning boards. Ultimately the details for construction are completed; the section to the right shows ceiling heights, trims, foundations and framing and important details that create the look and feel of the interior and exterior.
